Barbara Ann Rackl

On Thursday, August 5, 2021 Barbara Ann Rackl, age 78 of Montgomery Village, MD died peacefully at Adventist Health Care Shady Grove Hospital, Rockville, MD. Born on December 18, 1942 in Buffalo, NY to Norman Frederick and Jeanette Frances (nee Goodman) Rackl. Having earned a master's degree, she devoted her life to her chosen field of education, teaching in Montgomery County Public Schools. Beloved sister of James Francis Rackl (Susan) of Sioux Falls, SD. Devoted aunt of Jeanette Wegner (Landon) of Sioux Falls, SD and Benjamin Rackl of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by numerous cousins. She will be missed by the many family, friends and former students whose lives she touched. On Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 10:30 a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 9000 Warfield Road Gaithersburg, MD 20882. Inurnment will follow immediately at All Souls Cemetery 11401 Brink Road Germantown, MD 20876.
