On Friday, August 25, 2023, Bhalchandra Krishnaji Vaidya, 78, died unexpectedly and suddenly at his home in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Born October 13, 1944, to Krishnaji K. Vaidya and Indirabai Vaidya in India. Father of Aditi Vaidya of Princeton, New Jersey and Amol Vaidya of Braintree, Massachusetts. Grandfather of Kaushalya Selvaraj-Vaidya. Brother of Suman Kaluskar and Lalita Khadilkar. Predeceased by his siblings Kusum, Maai, Narayan, Gajanan, and Mohini.

Bhalchandra earned a Master’s Degree in Engineering from University of Missouri in 1968, followed by MBA in Management Information Systems from University of Pittsburg. He also had Professional Engineer (PE) License and Real Estate Brokers License from Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Bhalchandra loved Indian classical music and traditional Indian food. He also enjoyed watching science fiction movies and Star Trek. We will miss him very much.
