Daniel Mendoza, a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and nephew passed away peacefully March 23, 2025 at the age of 51. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Maria Del Carmen Cuesta Grajales, his mother wrote at his birth: "The name Daniel is given from the Bible as a tribute of humility, devotion, and love to God the Father," "In devotion to his patron Saint Daniel, who was delivered from the lions and his enemies. "He likes the name and he is identical to St. Daniel. Dany is an angel from heaven.”-his mother.

Daniel is survived by his father, Delfino Mendoza Contreras; his eldest sister, Alicia Colella (Dominic); his younger sister, Erika Clore (Roger); his niece Paula; and his nephews Dominic, Anthony, Kenneth, and Landon. He also leaves behind cherished memories with many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Daniel fiercely loved his family and found joy in learning about their lives through photos and stories. In his later years, he resided in a group home where he was cared for with kindness. His favorite pastimes included listening to music, dancing, drawing, and coloring—activities that reflected his vibrant spirit.

Daniel’s pure and gentle soul touched everyone who knew him, he always had a captivating smile and aura. His soul has truly entered the glory of God's heaven. He is now at peace.

Daniel Mendoza, amado hijo, hermano, tío, primo y sobrino, falleció en paz el 23 de Marzo, 2025 a la edad de 51 años. Fue precedido en la muerte por su querida madre, María del Carmen Cuesta Grajales, quien escribió al nacer él:

“El nombre Daniel se toma de la Biblia como un tributo de humildad, devoción y amor a Dios Padre. En devoción a su santo patrón, San Daniel, quien fue librado de los leones y de sus enemigos. “A él le gusta el nombre y es idéntico a San Daniel. Dany es un ángel del cielo.” – su madre.

Daniel deja en vida a su padre, Delfino Mendoza Contreras; su hermana mayor, Alicia Colella (Dominic); su hermana menor, Erika Clore (Roger); su sobrina Paula; y sus sobrinos Dominic, Anthony, Kenneth y Landon. También deja recuerdos entrañables con muchos primos, tías y tíos.

Daniel amaba profundamente a su familia y encontraba alegría en conocer sus vidas a través de fotos y ver sus historias por las redes sociales que sus hermanas le compartieron de toda la familia. En sus últimos años, residió en un hogar para adultos donde recibió un cuidado con amabilidad y cariño. Sus pasatiempos favoritos incluían escuchar música, bailar, dibujar y colorear, actividades que reflejaban su espíritu vibrante.

El alma pura y gentil de Daniel tocó a todos los que lo conocieron; siempre tenía una sonrisa cautivadora y un aura especial. Su alma ha entrado verdaderamente en la gloria del cielo de Dios. Ahora descansa en paz.
