Dorothy Smith

On Tuesday, November 2, 2021 Dorothy Smith age 87 died peacefully at her residence at Gift of Peace Convent, Washington, DC. Born on December 3, 1933 in Guyana, she came to the United States twenty years ago. She was employed in customer service for the telephone company. She will be missed by both the Missionaries of Charity and other residents at Gift of Peace Convent. On Monday, November 8, 2021 from 8:30 am until 9:00 am a Visitation will take place at Gift of Peace Convent 2800 Otis Street NE Washington, DC 20018. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately at the Convent Chapel at 9:00 am, with Graveside Services and interment taking place afterwards at Resurrection Cemetery 8000 Woodyard Road Clinton, MD 20735.
