On Sunday, December 11th, 2022 Edward Ezel Coggs, Korean War Army Veteran, age 89, of Silver Spring, MD died peacefully in Rockville, MD. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 30th, 1933 to Jerome Manlove and Lettie Coggs. Dear brother of Richard Deane Thomas, Sr. Edward is also survived by other beloved family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until the start of funeral service at 10:00 am on Friday, January 6, 2023 at The People's Community Baptist Church, 31 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, MD 20905.
Please meet us at cemetery gate to follow the procession for a 2:30 pm committal service at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA. (It is not mandatory to drive in procession; for safety reasons, guests should meet at the cemetery).
