Edwin Klein

On Wednesday March 4, 2020 Edwin Irving Klein age 94 died peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Masonic Home, Cockeysville, MD. Born February 10, 1926 in Hoboken, NJ to the late Fred and Alvina (nee Benson) Klein. He served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army. Long time volunteer at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Father of Edwin Scott (Suzette nee Smith) Klein of North Potomac, MD. Grandfather of Christopher (Angie) Phillips of Elgin, SC and Christopher Gibson of ME. Brother of Eleanor Cohn of Sunny Isles Beach, FL. He us also missed by the Montgomery-Cornerstone Masonic Lodge #195, the American Legion-Francis Scott Key Post #11, and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Predeceased by his beloved wife Madge Lee (nee Clark) Klein, and by his step-father Arthur Taraldsen. Services and inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
