Eunice Esther Waithera Njoroge

On Monday, August 08, 2022, Eunice Esther Waithera Njoroge 42 died suddenly after developing complications during surgery at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Maryland surrounded by family on her side.

Eunice was born on August 13th, 1981, in Eldoret, Kenya. She was the beloved wife to Dr. Njoroge Ikonye Gathongo and a loving mother to Leone Kericho aged 13, Leshan Ikonye Njoroge aged 6, Lenana Isaac Njoroge who is five weeks old residing at Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Eunice was the beloved daughter of Anastasia Muthoni Njenga (Mama Nduta) of Gaithersburg, Maryland and James Ikua Machara of Nairobi, Kenya. She was the loving sister to Alice Nyambura of Eldoret Kenya, Marynancy Wairimu Kabue of Leicester, UK, June Njuguna of Kileen Texas, John Njenga of Oxnard, California, Michael Machara of Oxnard, California, and Mercy Alice Nyambura of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

She was an aunt to Maureen Wanjiru, Adrian Chege, James Machara, Tevin Kafue, Anastasia Njenga, Tonisha Nyokabi Kabue, Kyle Njenga, Njeri Njuguna, Naima Njuguna, and Nyla Njenga.

She was a sister-in-law to Wacera Ikonye, Mwangi Ikonye, Waruguru Ikonye, Njoki Ikonye and Wanjiku Ikonye.

Cousin to Nyambura wa Joe, Wambui Kahiga, Caroline Nyambura Gaitho, John Alex Njenga (Gitosh), Anthony Njenga, lawyer Wanjiru Gaitho and Patrick Ng’anga of Nairobi, Kenya.
