Gertrude Elizabeth Donigian

Gertrude Elizabeth “Booty” Donigian, passed away from natural causes and went home to the Lord on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Carl Drafts and Amy (nee Coulbourn). Beloved wife of 61 years to Michael Donigian. Mother to Michael Donigian and the late Carl Donigian.

A graduate of Goucher College, she worked for the State of Maryland as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. She was a longtime member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO), D.C. DAR, Descendants of ’76, and the GFWC of Bethesda.

A viewing will be held Sunday, October 18, 2015 at North Bethesda United Methodist Church, 10100 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, Maryland 20814 from 2-3 pm, where a funeral service will be held at 3 pm. Interment will take place on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 10:30 am at Gate of Heaven, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, Maryland 20906.
