Guita was a devoted mother to her four children: Cicely, Jeannine, Henry, and Jaqueline. To them, she was not just a parent, but a guiding light who imparted wisdom, resilience, and warmth. Her legacy continues through the many loving grandchildren who filled her life with joy and laughter, each carrying a piece of her spirit within them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Adams and Ethel Hodge, who surely welcomed her with open arms. Their influence on her life instilled values she carried throughout her years, nurturing the connections she cherished with her family.

With an Associate's Degree her name, Guita forged a remarkable career overseeing shift operations for the U.S. Postal Service. Her contributions not only maintained the integrity of the postal system but also showcased her remarkable ability to lead and inspire those around her. Her colleagues fondly remember her as a beacon of positivity and diligence, qualities that were mirrored in her personal life.
