On Monday, May 14th, 2018 John William Mertz "Jack", (18) of Gaithersburg, MD died peacefully in Rockville Maryland, with his loving family by his side. Born in Rockville MD on October 1st, 1999 to John Mertz and Janine Mertz. He is survived by his sisters, Jaimie Mertz of Bethesda, MD, Julia Mertz, of Berkeley CA, and Jenna Mertz of the home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, May 18th, 2018 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church 11701 Clopper Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM, Interment St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church Cemetery, .
