On Thursday, January 27, 2022 Jose Emilio Vera-Castro, of Germantown, MD died peacefully at Holy Cross Hospital Germantown, Md. Born on January 28, 1920 in Peru to the late Francisco Vera Rivera and Emilia Castro More.
Having completed his education, he came to the United States 26 years ago, and became an American citizen. He worked as a teacher. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Hilda Yolanda Vera. He is survived by his son, Jose Carlos Vera Reyes of Germantown, MD, and other family members. He will be missed by both family and friends. A Visitation will take place at Thibadeau Mortuary Chapel On Friday February 4, 2022 from 9 am till 10 am. On Friday, February 4, 2022 at 11:00 am a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Mother Seton Catholic Church 19951 Father Hurley Blvd. Germantown, MD. Interment will follow immediately at All Souls Cemetery, 11401 Brink Road Germantown, Md 20876.
