Luis Angel Cruz

On Thursday, August 3, 2023, Luis Angel Cruz of Washington, DC age 74 died peacefully at Howard University Hospital, Washington, DC following a brief illness. Born on November 26, 1948, in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic to the late Angel Ramon Cruz Almanzar and Camelia Josefa Simo Delgado. Having completed his education and having come to the United States, he was employed as an attendant.at a parking garage.  He will be greatly missed by the residents and the Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity of Gift of Peace Convent with whom he resided.

On Thursday, August 18, 2023, from 8 am until 9:00 am a Visitation with take place at the Gift of Peace Convent Chapel, 2800 Otis Street NE Washington, DC 20018. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:00 am at the convent chapel. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road Clinton, MD 20735. May he rest in peace!
