Modesta Carmen Jaquez

On Sunday, July 18, 2021 Modesta Carmen Jaquez, age 62 died peacefully, following a brief illness at her residence, as a guest of the Missionaries of Charity Convent, Gift of Peace, Washington, DC. Born on June 15, 1959 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Ernesto Monte De Oca and Carlita Jaquez. Most of her life was devoted to being a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband. On Monday, August 2, 2021 from 8:30 am to 9 am a Viewing will take place at the Gift of Peace Convent, 2800 Otis Street NE, Washington, DC 20018. Immediately following the Viewing a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Convent Chapel. Graveside Services will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road Clinton, Maryland 20735. She will be missed by the Sisters and guests of Gift of Peace. May she rest in peace!
