Born in El Salvador on January 16, 1931, she was preceded in death by her mother Maria Luisa Hernandez. She worked as a care giver in the field of child care. Devoted mother of Emilio Hernandez (Teresa) of El Salvador, Maria Elizabeth Hernandez (the late Moreno) of Silver Spring, MD, Joaquin Hernandez (Ana) of Damascus, MD, Jose Edwin Cruz of Hagerstown, MD, Gladays Cruz of Silver Spring, Rene Antonio Hernandez (Paola) of Hagerstown, MD, Ada M. Cruz Ortega (Tany) of Silver Spring, MD, and Raina Liset Belmont of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved grandmother of 27 grandchildren. On Saturday, October 10, 2020 a Visitation will take place at Thibadeau Mortuary Chapel, 124 East Diamond Avenue Gaithersburg, MD 20877. On Monday, October 12, 2020 at 10:30 am, a Graveside Service followed by Interment will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 13801 Georgia Avenue Silver Spring, MD 20906.
