Pyong Kyu Chang

On Tuesday, July 9, 2024, Pyong Kyu Chang, 71, passed away in his home, in Gaithersburg, Maryland with his family by his side. Born in Yuh Su, Jeollanam-do, South Korea to loving parents Sun Dong Chang and Chum Sim Kim on February 12, 1953.

Pyong came to the United States in 1985 and worked hard in construction as a Siding Mechanic. He was a devoted father and church member. Pyong will be greatly missed by his wife Kyong Sun, and daughters Alyson and Mimi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Semehahn Church, 6325 Griffith Road, Laytonsville, MD 20882 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Graveside service will be held at Norbeck Memorial Park, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD 20832, Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 12 Noon.
