Teresa Morales Alvarez

On Thursday, July 11, 2024, Teresa Morales Alvarez, Gaithersburg, Maryland, departed this world with her cousin, Edwardo, her godchild, Sergio, by her side.

Teresa was born on September 10, 1939 in Mexico. She came to the United States where she worked tirelessly and lovingly as a nanny and housekeeper in private homes. Teresa was not only dedicated to her work but was exceptionally generous, kind, and caring throughout her life. Even in death, she continued to exemplify her generosity by being a donor, contributing to help others in need and medical research.

Teresa was more than a nanny; she was a nurturing presence in the lives of the children she cared for, raising many of them from infancy and leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

Beyond her work, Teresa loved to travel and explored numerous parts of Europe and South America, fulfilling her adventurous spirit.

Her kindness and compassionate nature touched everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In honor of Teresa's pure heart and spirit, those attending her visitation and service are kindly asked to wear white.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 11 am until the start of funeral service at 11:45 am at Thibadeau Mortuary Chapel, 124 E Diamond Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Interment to follow at All Souls Cemetery, 11401 Brink Rd, Germantown, MD 20876.
