Valentina Nunez

On the morning of December 25th, 2020 Valentina Nunez Rodriguez, age 26, passed away peacefully surrounded by her friends and family. She is survived by her husband Josh Rodriguez, mother Martha Marulanda, father’s Edgar Nunez and Robinson Hurtado, brother Miguel Hurtado and sister Melissa Hurtado. Valentina earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland and had begun working on her Graduate Degree from Notre Dame of Maryland University. A lovely soul who remained active in pursuing the joys of life and giving to others, Valentina shined brightly and left an impression on everyone she knew. Her profound faith never faltered. The strength of her belief in God continued through her final moments.

On Friday, January 1, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. a visitation will take place at Thibadeau Mortuary Chapel, 124 East Diamond Avenue Gaithersburg, MD 20877. On Saturday January 2, 2021 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, a second visitation will take place at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 11701 Clopper Road Gaithersburg, MD 20878. At 12:00 pm a Mass of Christian Burial will follow with a Youtube Link being made available to friends and family in addition. Immediately following the Mass, an interment will take place in St. Rose of Lima Parish Cemetery, adjacent to the Church.
