Valerie Regina Parent

Valerie Regina Parent, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital in Germantown Maryland. Born on July 14, 1952, in Gaithersburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Nathanial Noland and Helen Gertrude Lee.

She was an animal lover and she enjoyed spending time with her beloved canine companions Lucky and Hyper and her many beautiful birds. One of her favorite hobbies was gardening at her home. She very much loved her children, and every year would ensure she called her son Andre and left him a message so he could save her birthday wishes. She enjoyed collecting various dolls and appreciated Betty Boop the most! She had a fiery spirit and had no issues putting you in your place. Overall, she was very loved and will be missed dearly.

Valerie is survived by her husband Andre Parent Sr.; her sons, Thomas (Karen) Warren, Tony (Julie) Simms, Andre (Joanne) Parent Jr. and Troy Parent; her grandchildren Regina, Briana and Tony Jr. (TJ) Simms; her great grandchildren, Alexander and Jeremiah; and her siblings, Mildred Warren, Joyce Phillip and Wayne Warren. She was preceded in death by her brother Alvin Warren and sister Patsy Howard.
