William Kyle Ferrell

Cpl. William Kyle Ferrell, 21, of Carthage passed away on Tuesday, September 29 in Maryland.

A celebration of life will be held at the Carthage Fire Department on Thursday, October 8th at 11:00 a.m.

Born in Sanford on April 4, 1994, he is the son of John Daniel and Donna Frye Ferrell.
Kyle was raised in Carthage and was a graduate of Union Pines High School, class of 2012. After high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps where he earned the rank of Corporal. Kyle was stationed at Camp David in Maryland where he was assigned to the Presidential Security Detail. There he was quickly assigned the responsibilities of Sergeant of the Guard. Before joining the USMC, Kyle was an active member of the Carthage Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, Kyle is survived by grandparents Royce June and Katie Frye of Carthage, Marty and Judy Nipper of Lillington, Aunts and Uncles include David Ferrell of Angier, Stan and June Frye of Apex, Freddy and Sheila Frye of Lillington, Tim and Robin Nipper of Lillington, Tommy and Jean Nipper of Bunnlevel, Wendy and Joe Polky of Lillington, Jane and Lee Thomas of Southern Pines . Kyle was preceded in death by grandparents George and Dorothy Ferrell and Aunt Jennifer Ferrell of Coats, NC

The family will receive visitors immediately following at their home.
